This style of massage is a more intensive form of Swedish massage that reaches the underlying layers of muscle tissue and fascia. It releases chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes and deep pressure on contracted areas. The technique is a full body massage, however it focuses special attention on the neck, back and shoulders which are the main culprits when it comes to knots, tension and stress! Deep tissue may cause some soreness during or right after the massage, however, within a day or two you will feel better than ever.
